The Viking™ L is an incredibly smooth and strong lift. With a lifting capacity of 250 kg (39 stone), Viking L is ideal for all the most common lifting needs as well as for heavier patients.
The Viking L application area is very large. Whether it is a matter of lifting medium-weight or heavy patients, Viking L is suitable in most lifting situations, e.g. lifting from the floor, to/from the toilet, horizontal lifting, gait training.
This item comes with retractable arm rests, which support the patient during gait training or make it easier for staff to manoeuvre the lift when lifting a heavy patient. Also available in the accessory range are special lifting accessories developed for gait training during rehabilitation.
To provide maximum security for staff and patients, Viking L is equipped with both manual and electrical emergency lowering.

Slings are not supplied for rent but may be purchased. We can supply disposable slings for a nominal £ 40.00 in all sizes. Other more specialist slings can be found in our Slings section.

Terms and conditions for delivery and collectionPARKING, TOLL, FERRIES AND CONGESTION CHARGES: If you do not have free or resident parking visitor permits and we have to use chargeable parking, this will be charged to you. If you are inside the congestion zone this will also be charged at the rate governing at the time. If ferry charges or tolls are an unavoidable part of getting to the delivery point, then this will be chargeable at cost.
Wessex Healthcare Ltd (WHL) will give best endeavours in attempting an earlier delivery, but where an independent courier service is used to make this delivery HML cannot be held responsible for timing on this delivery. It should be noted by the hirer that where the collection and delivery is undertaken by a third party courier then the terms governing this service will be those of the courier but HML will always use best endeavours to ensure that the courier service performs in a timely manner. WHL will not be subject to liability where there should be a problem with the service provided by the courier.
Period of hire commences from time of delivery or attempted delivery and time of collection. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure someone is available to receive the goods between 8.00am and 8.00pm on the date of delivery. The hirer also accepts responsibility to ensure there is a person available to pass the goods to the collector on the date of collection. The hirer accepts that should there be no person available to receive or hand over the goods resulting in a further delivery or collection being required, then the hirer accepts a further charge is payable of the same value as that made originally. Where such delay caused by the hirer means that the product hired has entered a further hire period, then that costs will also be charged.
The packaging that the product is delivered in must be opened carefully and stored safely so that it can be used for the return of the goods. Packaging lost or damaged beyond acceptable use by the courier will mean new packaging must be sent out once again at a cost of £38.00
It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the hired product will fit through all access door ways and entrance points to be able to complete a successful delivery or collection. Any re-delivery or re-collection attempts that need to be made in the case where a hired product does not fit through doorways or access points will be chargeable to the hirer. Product dimensions and specifications are provided on the website, if you require any additional measurements to ensure access it is the responsibility of the hirer to contact WHL and get these measurements.
Calling in for cancellation of the hire will take 2 working days following notification that the goods are no longer required. Calling on the day that a payment falls due will not end the hire on that day
