A power assisted version of the very popular Ibis chair, the Power Support gives the freedom to move, together.
Integrating socially is becoming increasingly important. People with chronic health problems now remain in their home environment and live independently for as long as possible. Yet the range of people with restricted mobility using a comfort wheelchair is often very limited. The PowerSupport provides freedom, even if the carer is older or less able, because pushing is easy regardless of a persons physical condition. Direct drive motors in the 12 wheels ensure a smooth ride and excellent manoeuvrability, even when the attendant control is turned off, and there is plenty of space behind for the attendant. This also makes the user-friendly PowerSupport attendant control perfect for home or hospital use. Nursing staff usually have very limited time to take clients out for a ride. With the Ibis, the PowerSupport provides maximum comfort and physical support. It is also available on various other push wheelchairs.
The direct drive in 12 wheels allows a smooth ride and excellent manoeuvrability with no resistance when the motor is turned off. ´Hill Descent Control´ for maximum safety.
The PowerSupport incorporates long life, light weight batteries without memory. This allows for a charging time of as little as 2 hours.
Universal attendant control
The PowerSupport attendant control is available on the Ibis, but can also be used with various other push wheelchairs.
