Payment

Wessex Healthcare Ltd can accept payment by most major UK-issued debit and credit cards. Orders are positively card sanctioned prior to despatch. You may pay in three ways:

The Internet : There are two internet gateways. Paypal and Santander taking all major cards. Please note that you do not have to have a Paypal account to use this method.

You may also telephone your order (call 02382 180231) This option is offered at the checkout stage.

Or send a cheque payable to Wessex Healthcare Ltd. and post with full details to Unit 1 ‘Bridgefield’

Walpole Lane , Swanwick, Southampton, Hants, SO31 7AX. Goods will be dispatched upon cleared funds.

VAT exemption

Generally, VAT at 20% is chargeable on all products featured on this website unless indicated as a VAT exempt item for those eligible for VAT relief under the VAT act 1994.

generally speaking , if you are chronically ill or disabled and the goods are for personal and domestic use they you may be eligible for VAT relief. This will also apply to some UK charities.

You can select VAT exempt price on each item as indicated. You must then complete the VAT declaration at the checkout stating your illness or disability.

Delivery

The vast majority orders placed before 2pm are despatched on the same day. Normally delivery will be within four working days.
Occasional delays caused by items going out of stock are possible, but we work hard to keep these instances to a minimum.
Orders are despatched by courier and will require a signature, while certain low weight items may be sent by Royal Mail.
Some orders may be delivered by third parties. In these cases any information passed on will only be used only for purposes of delivering the goods. Please provide a telephone number with each order.

All goods purchased from Wessex Healthcare Ltd are at the request of the customer. We offer advice on product features and benefits is based on information given by the customer. We do not offer medical advice. We advise our customers to seek further advice from an Occupational therapist, GP or other medical professional.

Prices

While we endeavour to keep prices accurate we may be unable to supply the goods at the price shown due to unforeseen circumstances. In this instance we will contact you and you will have the opportunity to modify or cancel your order. 

Guarantee and Warranty

All products are sold with a 12 month warranty parts and labour against the manufacturer’s warranty or material fault.

This is in addition to your statutory legal rights.

Where stated the warranty may be longer. Where offered, extended warranties can be purchased.

Warranties do not cover consumable items such as tyres, bulbs, flat batteries or servicing (unless covered in a specific policy).

Complaints Procedure

All customer complaints will be acknowledged within in three days and resolved immediately if possible or within 5 working days.

If it is not possible to resolve the problem/complaint with 5 working days we will contact you and advise accordingly. We will aim to resolve it in 28 days.

If the complaint cannot be resolved we will write to you giving a full explanation with details on how to contact Trading Standards.

 

Coronavirus

We are now fully open and Functioning according to Covid 19 regulations. We can supply you a mask, hand gel and we keep a social distance while discussing your requirement. All equipment has been sanitised so you may try it out.– Please use our contact no. and email for free advice and information.

Deliveries are still ongoing although there may be a little some delay with some items. Please telephone or email us with your order and delivery details.

Free delivery on website orders over £100.00 – Council and NHS purchase orders accepted.
